With winter in full swing and families and children coming together to enjoy themselves, it’s important to not forget about the simple things.
As adults, we can help children play their part by teaching them how to prevent the spread of bugs and diseases.
This includes:
Washing our hands for at least 20 seconds
Sanitising surfaces
Covering our mouths when we cough or sneeze
Keeping a distance when we feel unwell
We’re also asking everyone in the Cheshire and Merseyside area to please make sure their child is up to date with their vaccinations, including the flu.
You can find a complete guide on how to treat certain conditions and symptoms here. Including more information on scarlet fever and strep A.
Thank you for helping us prevent the spread.
